Montepulciano d’Abruzzo DOP

Vineyard: Pure Montepulciano d’Abruzzo.
Vinification: In small-medium tanks, with long maceration on the skins.
Refining: In French oak tight-grained barriques.
Alcohol content: 13,5% vol.
Appearance: Ruby red verging towards garnet red.
Bouquet: Wide and lingering aroma with hints of black cherry, dry plum and cocoa; the aging enhances the hints of leather, tobacco, hay and aromatic herbs.
Taste: It has a great structure, warm but not burning, the tannins are evident but with a tight and velvety grain. Long finish with black fruit that overcome the slight boisée.
Serving glass: Burgundy.
Serving temperature: 18°C .
Food matchings: Complex roast meat,grilled meat, mature cheeses.
